Six people were shot and one man was killed in a trio of separate violent incidents across New York City on Sunday night, according to authorities.
The bloody night included a triple shooting in the Bronx, a double shooting in Queens and a single, fatal shooting also in the World’s Borough, cops said.
Just before 9 p.m., police responded to a 911 call inside a building between East 142nd Street and East 143rd Street on Brook Avenue in Mott Haven and found three male individuals, including a teen, struck by gunfire, according to the NYPD.
A 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were both shot in the back, and a 29-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg, cops said.
All three victims were taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition, police added.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Just 20 minutes earlier, officers responded to a call about multiple people shot inside a home on 16th Road between 147th and 149th Street in Whitesone.
Cops discovered a 39-year-old man who had suffered a gunshot wound to his left arm, and a 49-year-old woman who was struck in her right arm and torso, police said.
Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, authorities added.
A firearm was recovered at the scene and detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
Earlier in the evening, around 5:45 p.m., cops responded to a 911 call about a man shot inside a building between East 180th Street and East 181st Street on Southern Boulevard in Crotona, police said.
Authorities discovered a 25-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to cops.
The manner in which the young man was shot is not immediately clear, and no arrests have been made.
His name has not yet been released pending family notification, and the investigation remains active, authorities said.
