A 27-year-old man has been killed in a crash in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt region on Saturday, involving a sedan, a tow-truck and a road train.
WA Police are seeking any information or video footage from the public relating to the crash in Chittering, about 70 kilometres north of Perth.
“About 11.10am, three vehicles – a prime mover truck towing one trailer, a tow truck and a white Nissan Pulsar sedan – were involved in a collision on the Great Northern Highway,” police said in a statement.
“The sedan and tow truck were travelling south on Great Northern Highway when the Nissan collided with an oncoming prime mover which then struck the tow truck.
“The driver of the Nissan, a 27-year-old man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
“The 69-year-old prime mover driver and 71-year-old tow truck driver, both males, were not injured.”
