Former Bachelor Grant Ellis is revealing whether he’s open to starting something up again with an ex (or two) after splitting from Juliana Pasquarosa.
“I don’t rekindle. I move forward,” Grant, 31, said during a Sunday, June 22, Instagram Live. “I would not get back with anybody from my past. Life is best when you move forward, not backward.”
Grant, who starred as the season 29 lead, noted that he has no regrets about trying to find The One on The Bachelor.
“I learned a lot about myself. It was like therapy for me, honestly,” he said, adding that he’s not actively dating. “I’m just taking some time to chill for a little bit. Focus on me … Honestly, I’m not looking for anything right now. I’m just chilling.”
Grant and Juliana, 28, announced their separation less than three months after their engagement aired on ABC. Us Weekly confirmed on Monday, June 23, that the exes unfollowed each other on Instagram. (It is unclear when Grant and Juliana stopped keeping tabs on each other online.)
Since their split, Grant and Juliana have been active on social media — while runner-up Litia Garr seemingly addressed her ex’s breakup for the first time on Friday, June 20. (Grant blindsided Litia, 31, in the season 29 finale when he broke things off with her. She later claimed in the live show that he previously told her he could “stop the show” early because she was his No. 1. Grant later told Us there was “a lot” Litia said that he “didn’t align with.”)
Litia replied to an Instagram Q&A that read, “Obviously wanting to know your thoughts on the breakup,” to which she said, “I have gotten a lot of questions about this one.”
“I have a lot of thoughts obviously. I think it was very obvious from the beginning that they were very, very into each other and they started off on a very strong note and it had a lot of potential,” Litia said, before quipping that she was referring to Love Island USA’s Huda Mustafa and Jeremiah Brown. (The twosome explored a romance on season 7 — and were in a love triangle — before Jeremiah was voted off the show.)
She continued, “Honestly, at the end of the day, I just feel like Huda and Jeremiah are just not meant for each other. They are just not meant to be. They are not each other’s one and that’s OK. That’s just part of life, you know? You live and you learn, you gotta move on. I was thoroughly entertained by all of it. I am sat for the rest of the story. I can’t wait. I can’t wait to watch.”
Litia captioned her upload, “Rooting for both of them,” alongside a heart emoji.
