Blac Chyna is remaining tight-lipped about the Kardashian family after their headline-making lawsuit.
When Gia Giudice asked on the Monday, August 11, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Casual Chaos” podcast what the “hardest part” about “going through these breakups with the world watching and being involved with one of the most famous families in the industry,” Chyna, 37, declined to answer.
“I’m not answering that,” she said. “Next question.”
Giudice, 24, continued by asking Chyna (real name Angela Renee White) how she keeps herself “emotionally strong” for her kids. (Chyna welcomed son King Cairo in 2012 with ex Tyga and daughter Dream in 2016 with ex Rob Kardashian.)
“By praying and keeping to myself and not saying things that doesn’t really matter,” she said. “I only talk about the things that matter and what’s important and as God’s sobriety. That’s just really it, the Bible, just everything positive.”
Chyna has had her ups and downs with the Kardashian family since her split with Rob, now 38, in 2017. Five years later, Rob took the stand in a trial for Chyna’s defamation lawsuit against his sisters Khloé and Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, as well as mom Kris Jenner. After seeking more than $100 million, Chyna was ultimately not awarded any damages.
Through the drama, Khloé, 41, has maintained a close bond with niece Dream — and has even referred to herself as a “third parent” more than an aunt. The Good American founder went on to clarify her remarks after the 2023 episode of The Kardashians aired.
“I love ALL of my nieces and nephews more than I can express. Dream and I are particularly close. My brother and I are extremely close,” Khloé said in a statement on her Instagram Story at the time. “I am with Dream all the time because I’m with my brother all of the time. I love her beyond measure.”
She continued, “I consider ALL of my nieces and nephews my babies. I even consider my sisters my babies. I take pride in this love and always have. I wholeheartedly believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Life is full of ups and downs and I am proud that we have a family that can lean on one another. That’s what family does.”
Tristan Thompson, who shares two children with Khloé, made headlines earlier this year when he referred to Dream as his “daughter” — and received a public response from Chyna.
“Dream has one mother, Angela White, and one father, Robert Kardashian. I usually don’t speak up, but I’m done,” Chyna wrote via Instagram comment in January. “Stop all this clout-chasing involving my daughter!”
She continued, “As parents, we have joint custody. We also have a beautiful, healthy coparenting relationship.”
