A 67-year-old IHOP worker was stabbed and killed towards the end of his shift on Friday in a double stabbing at a Brooklyn eatery, according to the NYPD.
Hector Reinoso-Perez was stabbed in the torso just before 11:40 p.m. Friday night inside an IHOP in East New York, according to the NYPD.
Another unidentified 41-year-old man was slashed in the hand during the knifeman’s rampage inside the pancake house. He refused medical attention at the scene.
Reinoso-Perez, of Brooklyn, was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead, according to officials.
The assailant, who remains at large, followed Reinoso-Perez, a cleaner, into a bathroom where he fatally stabbed the elderly man, ABC 7 reported citing sources.
No suspects have been arrested and an investigation remains ongoing, according to the NYPD.
