Tracker fans who enjoy watching Justin Hartley‘s rugged character, Colter Shaw, explore the wilderness now have the opportunity to do the same.
In Us Weekly‘s exclusive first look at CBS’ second collaboration with AutoCamp, Hartley teased the Tracker-themed adventures viewers can experience leading up to the season 3 premiere.
“One of the best parts of starring in Tracker is being out in the wilderness. Now, you’ve got a chance to live like Colter Shaw too,” Hartley, 48, says in the announcement video. “We are partnering with AutoCamp for a special stay under the stars. Have an amazing time — and see you on the road!”
Ahead of Tracker‘s return to CBS on October 19, fans have the chance to book an adventurous Tracker-experience at any AutoCamp location starting September 24, which will come with a welcome kit inspired by Colter Shaw’s time on the road.
Also beginning September 24, Hilton Honors members will also have the opportunity to bid for an elevated one-of-a-kind Colter Shaw Tracker Stay Experience. The winner will redeem points and book a two-night stay at any of the locations until the end of the year.
“As we gear up for season 3 of Tracker, CBS’ second collaboration with AutoCamp — now with Hilton Honors added to the mix — takes the Tracker experience to a whole new level, with more locations, more access and more ways to connect with Colter Shaw’s adventurous world for fans who book or redeem points for these specially curated AutoCamp stays,” CBS’ president and chief marketing officer Mike Benson said in a statement about the partnership.
AutoCamp is known for revolutionizing outdoor travel with modern Airstreams and upscale cabins that combine camping with the experience of a luxury hotel. They currently have locations across the U.S — including AutoCamp Sequoia in California and AutoCamp Catskills in New York.
After booking a stay at any AutoCamp until the end of October, fans will receive a Colter Shaw Welcome Kit that includes Tracker gear including a backpack, hydration bottle, flashlight, headlamp and more. There is also a Tracker blanket, camping mug and signature AutoCamp s’mores kit.
Tracker, which premiered in February 2024, follows survivalist Colter as he travels the country to help find missing people, track down information on criminal cases and more. Hartley reflected on the show’s overnight success in a recent interview with Men’s Journal.
“One of the things I really love about Colter and the way we’ve built him is that he doesn’t apologize for his masculinity,” Hartley said in August. “I think that’s what people are looking for. You’re asking yourself, ‘What kind of people do I want to hang out with?’ And particularly: ‘What kind of male friends do I have in my life that I really value?’”
The actor was thrilled with the example Colter sets on the show.
“I think we’ve crafted a character that is so emotionally evolved, and he really does want to get to the root of why people do things,” Hartley continued. “The facts are that [executive producer] Ken Olin and I set out to do a show that was in fact a throwback. We wanted a new spin on a procedural, meaning our character would evolve over time.”
Hartley added: “He would not just remain the same exact person every single week. We were hopeful people would like it. People ended up loving it. I think there’s a huge appetite for this kind of show.”
Fans can find out more about AutoCamp’s Colter Shaw-inspired stay and the Hilton Honors members bid, which can be redeemed through December 31 for any of AutoCamp’s seven locations, on Tracker and AutoCamp‘s respective social media platforms.
Tracker returns to CBS on Sunday, October 19, at 8 p.m. ET before streaming the next day on Paramount+.
