Teddi Mellencamp’s hair is getting longer each day.
Mellencamp, 44, showed her growth — both inside and out — amid her ongoing cancer battle in a message shared via Instagram on Monday, September 22.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star brushed her mane to one side of her head in a newly shared selfie, embracing her brunette roots and platinum blonde ends.
The TV personality went makeup-free in the photo, showing off her clear and hydrated skin. She accessorized with a mix of dainty hoop and stud earrings, tying her look together with a brown hoodie.
“Mondays, am I right?” Mellencamp captioned the post. “Emotions high. Love to everyone out there. If I haven’t responded to your text, I love you. I am just struggling.”
She continued, “How are y’all doing? Would love to hear one of your positives from today. Mine is: I feel very grateful for the people in my life. 💗.”
Mellencamp’s fans sent her uplifting messages in the comments section while praising her for staying strong. “A positive: you look beautiful with short hair ❤️🔥.” A second added, “Look at how long your hair is getting 😍,” while a third gushed, “Looking beautiful 💕.”
Mellencamp has been open about her wellness journey since being diagnosed with stage II melanoma in October 2022. In February, the Bravo star shared that she was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma and it had metastasized to her lungs and brain.
In March, she exclusively told Us Weekly that she was “over” her pixie cut. “But Cruz made it a little better because he said, ‘Mom, we can get all the same haircuts.’” (Mellencamp shares Cruz, 10, along with daughters Slate, 12, and Dove, 5, with her ex-husband Edwin Arroyave.)
She underwent brain surgery in February to remove the tumors and is currently continuing immunotherapy.
