Kim Cattrall has always known how to command a photo shoot — and her latest fashion moment proves that she is strutting back into the spotlight with more designer drip than ever.
The former Sex and the City actress, 69, forever etched into pop culture as the fearless and fabulous publicist Samantha Jones, is fronting the bold new Designers at Debenhams x Ashish campaign with her signature sparkle and confidence.
“Kim is an icon, and I couldn’t think of anyone better for this campaign. Her sense of humour, wit and style make her even more extraordinary,” Ashish said of the star. “This collection is all about joy, and owning your presence, and it was such a delight and a privilege to be able to work with her.”
In one eye-catching portrait, Cattrall flaunts her legs for days while rocking a red sequinned mini and luxe hot pink fur coat, accessorizing with a statement gold chain necklace and black heels.
The stunner turned up the heat in a strappy teal mini dress with chunky bracelets and a bright crimson lip for another shot, even sizzling in a waist-cinching blue and green design.
Cattrall was also seen modeling a multi-colored coat and bright yellow fluffy heels as well as an oversized belted zebra print coat from the collection.
The TV icon opened up about how honored she felt to be the face of the relaunched Designers at Debenhams campaign in an interview with Cosmopolitan published on Wednesday, October 1.
“Designers at Debenhams is such a part of British fashion culture, it was always about making beautiful, designer-led clothes feel accessible and democratic. To be asked to front this new chapter feels both nostalgic and exciting,” Cattrall said. “I remember seeing those collaborations in store years ago, and now I get to be part of its reintroduction for a new generation.”
Cattrall noted that it was a wonderful experience getting to work with Ashish on the collab, praising the designer for having “such a playful, fearless approach” when it came to his work, adding that it’s “filled with joy, colour, and this sense of glamour that doesn’t take itself too seriously.”
“That’s a spirit I relate to very much. From the moment we met, it felt like a natural fit,” she added. “This campaign is about celebrating individuality and the theatre of dressing up, and his pieces capture that beautifully.”
Cattrall’s campaign emerged on the heels of news that the Sex and the City revival, And Just Like That…, was coming to an end following its third season’s two-part finale in August 2025.
Cattrall opted out of being a recurring character, but did make a brief appearance during season 2 and opened up on The View in June 2023 about why she finally agreed to reprise her role.
“It’s very interesting to get a call from the head of HBO saying, ‘What can we do?’ and I went, ‘Hmm, let me get creative,’” Cattrall shared. “And one of those things was to get [costume designer] Pat Field back because I just thought that if I’m going to come back, I gotta come back with that Samantha style. I gotta push it. And we did!”
The Ashish x Designers At Debenhams collection is available on October 9 at Debenhams.com.
