Twelve days later the truck driver was at Dome café in Byford where he sat at a table near three girls aged 15 and 16 who were dressed in school uniform.
The court heard CCTV footage shows Ali moving two chairs so that the girls had a direct view of his genitals that he exposed to them.

In sentencing Ali over three charges of committing an indecent act with the intention to insult or offend on Thursday, judge Carmel Barbagallo told the father-of-one his conduct was “disgusting” and “shameful”.
“You need to understand that no one wants to see your genitals,” she told him.
“No one wants to see your penis. No one wants to see your testicles. Understand that. No one wants to go to a café or a restaurant or the visitors centre of a prison or Dome café in Byford to see your penis and genitals. No one.

“These three children, these young people, they don’t want to see them. No one. No child, no woman, no man, no one. Your conduct is disgusting. It’s shameful. You need to understand that this conduct needs to stop and it needs to stop now. You can choose to do that. If you feel the need to have your genitals admired, then please do that at home.
“Whilst you’re out, keep them in your pants. So the next time you get out of a car or a truck or some vehicle and go into a cafe or restaurant, then you need to keep your genitals where they belong: in your pants. Do you understand me? If you can’t keep your genitals in your pants, then stay home.”
The court heard Ali had been diagnosed with Exhibitionistic Disorder, as well as Narcissistic Personality Disorder and while he tried to blame his offending on the breakdown of his marriage in early 2023, Barbagallo was not convinced.
She told Ali’s lawyer, Shash Nigam, that a psychological report stated that Ali exposed himself to women and children because he enjoyed it and that he had shown no remorse or empathy for his victims.
“It’s awful for these girls,” she said.
“This guy, in the middle of the day, flopping out his penis in front of them.”
She sentenced him to 12 months in prison for each of the three offences, to be served concurrently and made him eligible for parole.
