A 16-year-old boy was shot Friday morning on the grounds of a Bronx public housing complex, authorities said.
The teen was blasted in the back around 9:30 a.m. at East 161st Street and Forest Avenue, part of NYCHA’s William McKinley Houses in Morrisania, police said.
The injured youth was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, cops said.
Details were not immediately known on a suspect or the circumstances leading to the gunfire.
The violence came a day after another teen was stabbed during a brawl with three other kids blocks from Yankee Stadium, police said.
The young teen was stabbed in the right side of his stomach around 9 a.m. when a fight broke out at East 163rd Street and Grand Concourse in Concourse Village, police said.
He was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Earlier Thursday — just after midnight — a 27-year-old man and 42-year-old woman were both shot as they stood outside a building on Briggs Avenue near East Kingsbridge Road in Fordham Heights, cops said.
