A 42-year-old woman was busted traveling with escaped “Slender Man” stabber Morgan Geyser — who initially refused to give her name when she was found because she had “done something really bad,” according to a report.
The “adult accomplice” was sleeping on a sidewalk with Geyser, 23, when she was found Sunday afternoon in Posen, just outside Chicago — more than 150 miles from where Geyser cut off her ankle bracelet and escaped her group home in Wisconsin the previous day, CBS News reported.
The mystery pal claimed the pair were best friends, and said she hadn’t wanted Geyser to be alone when she cut off her ankle tag and escaped the group home, where she had been living since her release from her psychiatric facility in March this year.
The woman claimed the two had taken a bus to Chicago, before walking 20 miles south to Posen, where they were forced to stop walking when Geyser injured her foot.
They were arrested around 1 p.m. Sunday after officers responded to a report of two people loitering behind the truck stop, and found the two sleeping on the sidewalk.
Geyser initially gave police a false name and said she didn’t want to tell cops who she was because she had “done something really bad,” according to CBS News.
She said officers could “just Google” her to find out who she was. Geyser was just 12 years old when, in 2014, she and a friend tortured a fellow classmate in the woods near their home in suburban Milwaukee.
The pair claimed they stabbed the girl 19 times in an attempt to please “Slender Man,” a fictional internet boogeyman.
