Police are searching for a shooter after a judge and his wife were wounded at their Indiana home.
Approximately 2.17 p.m. ET officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1700 block of Mill Pond Lane, where they found Judge Steve Meyer, a 12-year veteran of Tippecanoe Superior Court 2, and his wife, Kimberly, Lafayette Police said in a statement on Monday.
The judge was treated for an arm injury and his wife for a hip injury, with both in a stable condition, the statement said
Shell casings were also found at the scene and the incident remains an “active and ongoing joint investigation,” it added.
