Last season, Brenden Queen, who is now running full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Kaulig, won this season-opening race, parlaying that into an ARCA title after winning eight races.
This season, the championship battle looks more wide open than it’s been in past seasons, with drivers like Isabella Robusto, Thomas Annunziata, and Jake Bollman all expected to contend for the title. Max Reaves will be a major threat in the races he runs, but his age will prevent him from competing full-time.
In addition to series regulars, the entry list for Saturday’s race features full-time Craftsman Truck Series drivers Mini Tyrrell, Giovanni Ruggiero, and Daniel Dy,e as well as several part-time drivers who are hoping to start the season off on a strong note. That includes Garrett Mitchell, better known as YouTuber Cleetus McFarland, who will attempt the race in the No. 30 car.
There’s also an Earnhardt in the field, with Bobby Earnhardt looking to qualify for the race in the No. 89 Chevrolet.
