Two teenagers have died and a motorcyclist is in hospital in serious condition after an e-bike and Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided in Logan overnight on Thursday.
Police said the teenagers, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, were both riding the e-bike, which was hit head-on by the motorbike as it overtook a vehicle on Middle Road at Greenbank about 9pm.
The teenagers died at the scene.
Police said their e-bike’s headlights were not believed to be lit at the time of the accident. They could not say if the pair had been wearing helmets.
The 52-year-old man who was riding the motorcycle was rushed to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital.
On Friday morning he was reported to be in stable condition.
Police urged any witnesses or anyone who has footage of the incident to come forward, as the Forensic Crash Unit investigates.
