Squawk & awe.
Former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss’s rowdy exotic birds are reportedly driving her Las Vegas neighbor crazy with their wild early-morning screeching outside her window.
Shauna Cordova, who has lived on the southeast side of the Las Vegas Valley for decades, told 8 News Now that Fleiss’ obnoxious parrots — Gin and Juice — squawking is loud enough that it wakes her up almost daily at the crack of dawn.
“It has woken me up,” Cordova said. “Nobody likes to get woke up. So when you get woke up, it puts you in a bad mood. You’re like, what in the heck is going on?”
Fleiss had vowed to leave Nevada in favor of Missouri when one of her macaws was shot with a pellet gun in 2022. However, she left her Pahrump home and chose to remain in the state.
The “irritated” neighbor said the macaws, large New World parrots known for their long tails and colorful feathers, perch on a wire near her bedroom window almost every morning and scream.
Cordova, an animal lover herself who owns dogs, roosters, chickens and a goat, said the birds have caused a rift between her and the infamous madam.
The 60-year-old said the $850,000 property she bought in mid-February features a bird aviary with more than 30 birds that she allows to roam free rather than keeping them caged, 8 News Now reported.
Fleiss routinely captured the daily activities of her cherished, wild birds on social media.
On Wednesday, Fleiss claimed that a neighbor — whom she did not name — sent Animal Control to take the beloved animals.
“What to do about the Karen next door?” Fleiss wrote on her Instagram page.
Fleiss told the outlet she believes it may be her past — not her loud birds — that her neighbor dislikes more.
“I think she just doesn’t like me,” Fleiss told 8 News Now. “And there’s a lot of people like that. And I’ll never be able, I can’t try and change her mind.”
Fleiss, who ran a high-end Los Angeles prostitution ring that catered to A-list clients, including actor Charlie Sheen, in the 1990s, was convicted of pandering in 1995 — a conviction later overturned — before serving 20 months in federal prison for tax evasion.
Following her release, the former madam left Los Angeles in the early 2000s for rural Nevada, choosing to stay out of the public eye while dedicating herself to caring for exotic parrots.
Fleiss said she isn’t looking for trouble with her neighbors and would “do whatever I can to appease them.”
“I would like to talk to my neighbors,” she said.
She also told 8 News Now she filed a noise complaint with the county and its code enforcement department over the noisy birds and believes Fleiss “is going to be very upset when she finds out what the county has to tell her.”
Cordova said the county code suggests Fleiss could be limited to 20 birds and face outdoor restrictions because the homes sit in a “bird strike hazard area” near Reid Airport.
Fleiss had previously been involved in disputes over some of the birds in 2022, accusing Brandi McClain — a woman who allegedly once worked for her — of reneging on a custodial agreement for four of their macaws.
