UConn freshman Braylon Mullins sent the Huskies into the Final Four with an epic last-second shot thanks to an errant pass from Duke’s Cayden Boozer.
Silas Demary Jr. made one free throw to cut Duke’s lead to two with 10 seconds left before Duke’s Dame Sarr and Cameron Boozer exchanged passes before Sarr passed it to Cayden Boozer near half court. The latter saw Demary and Mullins collapse onto him before attempting to make a pass that ended up in the hands of Mullins, who sent the ball up to Alex Karaban.
After seeing one of the Boozer brothers in defense, Karaban sent the ball to Mullins, who hit the game-winning 35-foot three-pointer.

“I think we were all just trying to get the ball out of whoever had the ball in their hands and trying to make a play on the ball,” Mullins said. “Silas made an incredible, incredible play, and everything else just happened as it is.”
The stadium – and everyone watching from home – were left in stunned silence, including legendary commentator Bill Raftery.
Video of Raftery’s stunned reaction to the scene on the court quickly went viral on social media, which promptly delivered jokes about the 82-year-old’s potential demise.
“He died here but quantum immortality forced the creation of a new universe where he had to survive. That’s our current reality,” joked one fan.
“Rafferty has seen just about everything you could imagine at least twice by this point in his career and he still stared down at the monitor to make sure his brain was calculating all of this correctly,” offered another.
Fans will get a little more Raftery when he calls both Final Four contests alongside on-air teammates Ian Eagle and Grant Hill.
