The 2026 NBA Combine came to a close, and now, scouts and teams are looking ahead to the 2026 NBA draft.
The big names in the draft delivered at Combine, but in addition, some of the more unassuming players also made noise and a strong case for themselves to get selected. One of those players is Baylor’s Cameron Carr.
In an article for Bleacher Report after the week-long NBA Combine, Jonathan Wasserman gives the winners and losers of the event. “Every year, the NBA Draft Combine gives prospects a chance to change their draft stock in front of dozens of front offices — through measurements, athletic testing, scrimmages and closed-door interviews,” he states.
One of his biggest winners of the event is Carr.

“Cameron Carr already looked like a combine winner after athletic testing and measurements,” he states in the piece. “And then he came out Wednesday and racked up 30 points on six threes and three dunks. The ease at which he was able to separate/shoot over defenders and elevate above the rim was obvious.”

Carr was already projected to go early in the draft, but after his Combine showing, expect him to go very early, likely in the mid-first round. His strong Combine performance coupled with his run last season with Baylor continues to attract scouts, and he’s done nothing but improve his draft stock ahead of the big event.
