Hasan Piker’s mom admitted that she doesn’t even agree with her far-left influencer son’s “love” of communist China.
Sedef Piker, an architectural historian and the mother of the provocative streamer, told Rolling Stone magazine in a profile of her son that she is “not in love with China like he is.”
Hasan Piker, meanwhile, has praised the People’s Republic of China on several occasions.
The 35-year-old described the communist country as “f—ing sick” on a livestream during a two-week tour of the nation in November 2025.
“It’s f–king sick, okay? You have abundance-style consumption paired up with a centrally controlled economy and economic system that has yielded tremendous development,” he gushed.
“You have 1950s Soviet-era building blocks next to the Gucci store. If there was ever a country that represented the synthesis of the things that I enjoy so much personally, if ever such a country existed, I do not know.”
Piker also praised former Chairman of the Chinese Communist Party, Mao Zedong, in a livestream during the trip. The founder of the People’s Republic of China was responsible for the starvation deaths of millions of people under his rule.
“Mao Zedong is one of the great leaders of this world, OK? A man who changed the entire universe, the entire planet,” Hasan said.
The streamer also bizarrely claimed that he’d “become Chinese.”
“In my heart, in my soul, in my mind, in my conscience, I have already become Chinese,” he said during the trip.
While Piker made no secret of his love for China, he has had much more damning things to say about the US — the nation where he was born and lives.
The champagne socialist — who drives a $200,000 Porsche — distubingly crowed that “amercia deserved 9/11” back in 2019.
He has also come under fire for saying that it “doesn’t matter if rapes happened on Oct. 7,” referring to the Hamas terror attack against Israel that killed more than 1,200 people.
Besides her son’s Sinophilia, Sedef Piker also told the magazine that she wished he would tone it down and not joke so much online.
“I worry about him. The internet is a very savage place,” the mom said.
One point of contention she no longer has with her son, however, is his decision to stop taking risque shirtless photos in the bathroom.
“I’m glad we’ve moved from naked pictures to suits,” she joked.
