MJF may just be planning to reunite a faction that was once beloved by wrestling fans, this time in All Elite Wrestling.
On last week’s AEW Dynamite, the former AEW World Champion attempted to downplay his loss to Hangman Page at Revolution. During this, MVP, an old acquaintance, approached him with a proposal.
While not explicitly stated, MVP’s offer to help MJF reignite his passion and strongly suggested an invitation to join The Hurt Syndicate. MJF accepted MVP’s business card, leaving the situation unresolved until his promo on this week’s episode of Dynamite.

MJF acknowledged that he might require a crew to reclaim the World Championship, a fact noted by current World Champion Jon Moxley and his Death Riders each week. However, due to past betrayals, he’s hesitant to trust again.
He announced he would take another week to consider MVP’s offer and reveal his decision next week. Now, fans are left to wait.
Alexander Hammerstone departed from TNA on March 7, 2025, when his contract expired. Now, he is on the free agent market and could easily be signed by AEW should the promotion opt to do so.
He responded to a clip of MJF’s promo on Dynamite that has fans thinking he could be AEW-bound and reunite with MJF as part of this new faction. He wrote, “Hmm.”
MJF and Hammerstone share a past as members of The Dynasty, a professional wrestling faction in Major League Wrestling. The group, which also included Grogan, Gino Medina, and Richard Holliday, began as an alliance between MJF, Hammerstone, and Holliday.
The Dynasty achieved significant success, with Hammerstone holding the World Heavyweight Championship and becoming the inaugural National Openweight Champion. Holliday was a former IWA Caribbean Heavyweight Champion, while he and MJF also held the World Tag Team Championship.
The Dynasty was established during MLW’s February 2, 2019 television taping, following Richard Holliday’s attack on Teddy Hart of the Hart Foundation after MJF’s match against him. MJF and Holliday then began a prolonged rivalry with the Hart Foundation.
The March 26th episode will also showcase International Champion Kenny Omega, who is now confirmed to defend his title against Ricochet and “Speedball” Mike Bailey at Dynasty on April 6th.
