New details have emerged about the death of All That alum Christy Knowings .
A death certificate obtained by Us confirmed that the former Nickelodeon actress was cremated on August 19 and her ashes were scattered at sea.
Knowings’ primary cause of death was determined to be cardiac arrest. The Los Angeles County Department of Health noted that there were multiple contributing factors at play as well, including acute hypoxic respiratory failure, which occurs when the lungs are not able to transfer enough oxygen into the blood stream.
