Orange apples are here, Apple iPhones that is. During Apple’s iPhone 17 event on Tuesday, it was revealed that the iPhone 17 Pro will be offered in silver, deep blue and one color that especially caught people’s attention: cosmic orange.
“It looks like a sports car on a phone,” one CNET staffer quipped after the reveal.
The iPhone 17 Pro will have a new aluminum unibody and “the best camera system we’ve ever made,” Apple claims. If you don’t believe it, just take a peek at today’s video announcement. It was filmed entirely with the iPhone 17 Pro, Apple revealed.
The iPhone 17 Pro will also have the biggest iPhone battery and 256GB of storage. The pricing starts at $1,099 while the larger iPhone 17 Pro Max starts at $1,199. Today’s other reveals included the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Air, which is only 5.6 mm thick. Preorders for the entire iPhone 17 lineup will begin this Friday, Sept. 12.
