Accused Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson is under “special watch” inside the Utah County Jail as he’s set to face charges of aggravated murder in the shooting of the conservative activist.
The 22-year-old suspected murderer is being monitored around the clock by officials to ensure he doesn’t hurt himself or others until mental health professionals decide if he is suicidal, the Utah County Sheriff’s Office told TMZ on Saturday.
It is unknown if Robinson has harmed or threatened to hurt himself since his arrest on Friday morning.
The Dixie Technical College student’s father, Matt, recognized his son as the person of interest in Kirk’s assassination at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.
Matt confronted his son about surveillance photos that authorities released — with Robinson claiming he would rather kill himself than be handed over to the police, sources told The Post Friday.
Jail officials placed Robinson under the special classification to allow the new inmate to be monitored 24 hours a day.
Security cameras are positioned in the special housing unit at the Utah jail that captures strong coverage of the area, ensuring the prisoners’ safety and the guards watching them, the outlet reported.
Robinson is being held without bail for aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury and obstruction of justice.
Aggravated murder is the only charge in Utah that carries the possibility of the death penalty
Robinson allegedly fired a single rifle shot at the 31-year-old Kirk, who was at the Orem, Utah campus as part of his American Comeback tour.
Kirk was answering a question about transgender mass shooters during his “Prove Me Wrong” segment when he was struck in the neck.
The gunman was perched on the rooftop of a building overlooking the UVU courtyard where the event was being held.
Surveillance video captured the shadowy figure, dressed in black clothing, running from his sniper’s nest to the back corner of the building, jumping down and escaping campus through a parking lot into a wooded area.

Police officials were on the lookout for a dark gray Dodge Challenger, which the gunman allegedly drove to campus hours before the shooting.
A Challenger, owned by Robinson, was seized by law enforcement outside his parents’ Washington, Utah home hours after his arrest.
Robinson allegedly joked the shooting was done by his “doppleganger” trying to “get him in trouble.”
The alleged gunman’s callous remarks came in a Discord group chat with approximately 20 other pals one day after the deadly shooting, the New York Times reported.
“Tyler killed Charlie!!!” another user then wrote, the outlet reported.
One member of the 20-person group chat suggested turning Robinson in to claim the FBI’s $100,000 reward, all while a massive manhunt raged.
“Only if I get a cut,” the alleged assailant sneered, using an avatar of John Arbuckle, Garfield’s perpetually confused owner.
