The Indianapolis Colts have been the surprise team of the 2025 season thus far, showing off a dynamic offense led by Daniel Jones throughout their first two games. But unfortunately, one of Jones’ most reliable targets to start the year could be missing for the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Daniel Jones has looked like a new man in Indianapolis. And part of the reason why has been due to the excellent play of rookie tight end Tyler Warren through two games.
Jones has been able to connect with Warren with regularity, leading all tight end with 155 receiving yards on the season.

It remains to be seen whether the Colts’ hot start offensively is sustainable or whether Daniel Jones may revert to his inconsistent play in the past.
But that may very well be put to the test in Week 3, as Jones may be without Warren in the matchup after the rookie standout was listed on the team’s injury report. He did not practice on Wednesday due to a toe injury.
Despite the great start to the season for the Colts, concerning injuries are beginning to pile up, which should be worrying for Colts fans. In addition to Warren, third-year wide receiver Josh Downs also did not practice with an ankle injury.

Given how early it is in the week, it likely isn’t time to panic yet on their potential availability for Sunday’s game.
But if both Downs and Warren do miss Sunday’s matchup with the Titans, it would not only certainly impact the Colts’ passing game on paper, which is currently tied for the second-most passing yards in all of football, but also perhaps show some of Daniel Jones’ weaknesses more clearly, which haven’t been present early on in the season.
