As fantasy users gear up for their draft ahead of the 2025 season, there are endless different routes one can go when building out their team. One tactic that has become popular is securing a “stack.” That being a quarterback and wide receiver pairing from the same team.
Across the NFL, there are countless high-level QB/WR pairings. A team with one of the more notable pairings is the Dallas Cowboys. Though it wasn’t on display much last season due to injury, Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb have built a strong connection on the field.
Now in his prime, Lamb is widely regarded as one of the league’s top wideouts. As for Prescott, he’ll be looking to return to the MVP-level form he was in during the 2023 season.
Given the success they’ve had together in the past, they’re certainly an enticing duo for any fantasy team.

Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb named among top fantasy football stacks
In these final days of draft preparation, Bleacher Report’s Moe Milton compiled a ranking of the top stacks in fantasy this year. Prescott and Lamb cracked the top five, slotting in at No. 4. Coming in atop the list was the Philadelphia Eagles’ pairing of Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown.
“when healthy, Prescott is one of the most productive passers,” Milton wrote. “The three-time Pro Bowler has been a top-seven fantasy quarterback in the last three seasons that he’s played at least 16 games, which makes him worth the risk despite his injury history. As for Lamb, he’s a tier 1 receiver who caught a league-leading 135 receptions in 2023 with Prescott under center. Even with Cooper Rush as his starting quarterback for eight games last year, he still finished eighth in fantasy scoring among wideouts.”

Securing this stack won’t be easy, as Lamb is projected to come off the board very early in most drafts. That said, if one were able to secure him, taking Prescott in a later round should be considered.
The last time Prescott was healthy for a full season, he threw for over 4,500 yards and led the league with 36 touchdown passes. Lamb was a major catalyst in this, posting an NFL-best 135 receptions and a career-high 1,749 yards. The star wideout also caught a third of Prescott’s touchdowns that season.
Things will be a little different this time around now that George Pickens is in the mix. That said, if they can stay healthy, this duo is likely to put up big numbers again.
