The moment a pet parent spotted his missing dog while driving quickly went viral on Instagram.
Quincy Thomas started his April 16 Instagram video with him talking to the camera during his morning commute. He tried to announce an upcoming song release, but something caught his attention. His eyes widened in disbelief. He saw Lola, his dog, who had gone missing five days earlier.
As he slowed down the car, Thomas quickly tapped the horn and started screaming his dog’s name: “Lola, Lola, hi baby.” He couldn’t get out of the car fast enough to get her back into his arms. Careful not to startle her, Thomas patiently waited next to the car, calmly trying to convince her to come to him.
Thankfully, she listened, and he hurried her into the car. His tone went from excitement about finding her to dad mode. He sternly told her to get into the car. There was no way he would let her out of his sight again.
Once back in the car, Thomas realized the phone recorded the entire interaction, and he started explaining what had happened, screaming with joy. Meanwhile, Lola looked the least bit worried. She had no clue that her five adventurous days caused endless stress for Thomas and the family.
