Legendary actress Diane Keaton has died, her family confirmed to PEOPLE Saturday. She was 79.
A family spokesperson told the outlet that they are asking for privacy at this time.
Keaton starred in classics such as The Godfather and Annie Hall, for which she won the Oscar for Best Actress.
She leaves behind her two children, daughter Dexter and son Duke, who she adopted when she was in her 50s, according to PEOPLE.
The cause of death was not immediately available.
