Cassie Ventura testified that a jealous Sean “Diddy” Combs told her rapper Kid Cudi’s car was going to be blown up after she began dating him.
“He mentioned when we were out of the country that’s Scott’s car would be blown up and he wanted his friends to see it,” Ventura testified, referring to the Grammy-winning musician’s real name, Scott Mescudi.
The threats prompted her to break up with Mescudi, she said.

The next time she saw him was during a meeting at SoHo House in New York City with Combs, when Mescudi asked: “what about my vehicle?” she recalled.
“What vehicle?” Combs responded.
“And that was the end of the meeting,” Ventura said.

Ventura told jurors in Manhattan federal court that she remembered Combs “lunging” at her when he found out about her relationship with Mescudi.
“He found out during a ‘freak-off,’” she said, referring to the days-long sex sessions that Combs allegedly choreographed.
“He went through one of my phone and found emails with one of his staffers” about the relationship, Ventura testified.
In a 2023 lawsuit, Ventura accused Combs of threatening to blow up Mescudi’s car — and the vehicle exploded in the rapper’s driveway around the time the alleged threats were made.
