Penta captured his first WWE Intercontinental Championship on Monday’s episode of “Raw.” The newly minted titleholder challenged Dominik Mysterio inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Judgment Day members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh were at ringside for the match, but Balor’s refusal to assist Mysterio led to a title change.
When Penta appeared to hurt his shoulder, Mysterio asked McDonagh to give him the ring bell hammer. Balor prevented McDonagh from tossing the weapon in the ring, reminding him that Mysterio wanted to win the match on his own.
Mysterio still has the AAA Mega Championship, which was not at stake. The loss will play into WWE’s ongoing storyline of there being some fractures within The Judgment Day. As it stands, the group also has some underlying tension between Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, although the two seemed to be on the same page on Monday.

Danhausen Cursed Dominik Mysterio
Prior to the WWE Intercontinental Championship match, “Raw” general manager Adam Pearce introduced The Judgment Day to Danhausen. Mysterio brushed Danhausen off, saying the latest WWE signee would never win the intercontinental title. As a result, Danhausen cursed Mysterio, and fans on social media are already crediting the former AEW star for causing the title switch.
Danhause made his WWE debut at “Elimination Chamber 2026.” WWE promised to unveil the contents of a mystery box that surfaced on “Raw” and “SmackDown” weeks prior to the PLE. Danhausen ended up making his way out of the box with a group of dancers, who all wore his signature face paint.
