This year’s Final Four is reportedly the most expensive on record, with an average ticket price of $706 — an astonishing 52% increase from last year’s $464 average.

Beyond that, just to get your foot in the door and possibly see the action from a distance — considering the game is being played in a football stadium — you’d currently have to shell out an estimated $456. These numbers are likely to fluctuate before Saturday.
According to TickPick, the priciest purchase on their platform so far was for three tickets in Section 114, Row T, costing $7,859 per ticket — a grand total of $23,576.
Which state’s are buying up the tickets?
So far, the most tickets are being purchased by Illinois fans, accounting for 23% of sales. Arizona fans follow with 15%, and interestingly, Texas ranks third with 10% of buyers coming from there.
After that, Indiana — the host state — represents 8% of ticket purchases, while Michigan rounds out the top five with 7%.
To date, with this Final Four reaching record-breaking prices, the next four most expensive in history were 2024, 2022, 2017, and 2025.
