Wisconsin and Michigan will continue their rivalry and face off for the Big Ten tournament championship on Sunday.
The Wolverines went 24-9 this season and 14-6 in conference play. To get to Sunday’s Big Ten tournament championship game, the Wolverines defeated tournament No. 6 seed Purdue 86-68 before winning a nail-biter against Maryland, the tournament No. 2 seed, 81-80. In the win over the Terps, elite frontcourt duo Daniel Wolf and Vladislav Goldin combined for 46 points, 24 rebounds, and four assists. Slowing down the monster duo down low will be key to Wisconsin’s success today.

Meanwhile, the Badgers went 26-8 this season and 13-7 in Big Ten play. To get to Sunday, Wisconsin defeated tournament No. 4 seed UCLA 86-70 and then took down tournament No. 1 Michigan State 77-74. Leading the way for the Badgers in the upset win was star guard John Tonje, who had 32 points and seven rebounds in the victory.
Michigan and Wisconsin faced off one this season, all the way back on Dec. 3, 2024, in what was a 67-64 win for the Wolverines, thanks to 44 combined points from Wolf and Goldin. Can the Wolverines pull off the win over the Badgers again and take home the Big Ten tournament title, or will Wisconsin be able to exact revenge on Michigan on Sunday?
