Cheyenne Floyd and Zach Davis are feeling the love after being treated to a celebratory baby shower.
The Teen Mom: The Next Chapter stars joined family and friends at The Grotto in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 4, for a party filled with love and heart.
“I think because we don’t know the gender of the baby, we wanted everything to be super gender neutral and earthy and organic and just to feel really natural,” Floyd, 32, exclusively shared with Us Weekly after working with Events by Cory LaNora. “I wanted people to walk in and go, ‘Oh my god, this is so beautiful.’ I think it came to life. I love it. I’m happy with how it turned out and how it looks and how it feels.”
Back in May, Floyd and Davis revealed on the season finale of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter that they were expecting baby No. 2. (The couple shares son Ace, 4, while Floyd welcomed Ryder, 8, with ex Cory Wharton.)
Since then, the couple has vowed not to find out the sex of their child until the baby arrives this December.
“The both of us feel like we have the best of both worlds right now,” Davis shared. “We have a boy and we have a girl, and neither one of us is looking to have a certain gender. I just think we just want a healthy baby at this point.”
Floyd added, “I keep asking Ryder, ‘What do you want? A brother or sister?’ And she goes, ‘I just want a baby.’ …. I think that either way, the kids are gonna be really happy.”
Throughout her pregnancy journey, Floyd has received support from her Teen Mom family, especially Jade Cline who has already sent a gift.
The reality star also continues to count her blessings after documenting her journey with infertility and PCOS — a common hormonal disorder in women — on the MTV series.
“I think that all babies are a blessing,” Floyd shared with Us. “Sometimes we have to wait, and we definitely had to wait for this one, but once we found out that we were having a baby, we were so excited. … [To future moms,] keep your head up and just know that there’s always a bigger plan, and when you just kind of relax and sit and wait for God’s plan, beautiful things can happen.”
