A historic wedding venue north-west of Sydney was destroyed by a fire late on Friday night, forcing many couples to find last-minute arrangements for their special day.
More than 80 firefighters were called to the venue, Loxley on Bellbird Hill, in Kurrajong Hills at about 7pm after receiving reports of a fire in the main building.
Footage from the scene showed flames coming out of the windows and on the roof of the building as multiple fire crews doused the area in water.
There appeared to be no events happening onsite at the time. A 40-year-old man was treated for minor burns after trying to extinguish the fire, NSW Police said in a statement.

Fire crews were still on the scene on Saturday morning, putting out spot fires sparked by the embers.
Volunteers from the Rural Fire Service’s Plumpton Brigade provided water for the firefighting from its bulk water tanker.
“Crews were confronted with the added danger of gas bottles venting under intense heat,” the brigade posted on Facebook.
“We thank our members for responding and acknowledge the efforts of our neighbouring volunteers working tirelessly alongside us under very challenging circumstances.”
