Yes, Leslie Jones loves Whitney Cummings as much as you do — in fact, the comedian and Saturday Night Live alum thinks Cummings’ podcast is only second to her own.
“I don’t listen to podcasts, but if I did, [my favorite] would be between mine, which is called ‘The Fckery,’ and Whitney Cummings’ ‘Good For You’ podcast,” Jones, 57, reveals exclusively in her What I’m Obsessed With feature in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now. “She’s so funny. She’s the white version of me.”
Jones — who will perform a stand-up set at the Lil Rhody Laugh Riot comedy festival on Saturday, March 29, in Providence, Rhode Island — appeared on Cummings’ podcast in September 2023, in an episode titled, “Successful Dating Advice.”
The two comedians are also known to hype one another up on social media, with Cummings once writing on X, “Leslie f—ing kills me.”

‘Back in Action’
I just recently watched Back in Action on Netflix with Jaime Foxx and Cameron Diaz. It was so good because Cameron Diaz is a f—ing G. Her protecting her daughter — it just brought me back to how good she is and she’s still that bitch. Jaime plays the straight dude and it’s a delight. I want more movies like that. I didn’t want it to end.
‘The Alchemist’
The Alchemist by Paulo Cohelo. Every young child or 35-year-old needs to read it. It breaks down so well that you can have a dream or a goal, but in order to reach that goal you have to prepare yourself for that — just like a doctor has to go to med school before they’re ready. Be patient with the lessons you are learning through life to make you the bomb. The thing was the journey to the goal.
‘A Night at Studio 54’ and ‘The Blues Brothers’ Soundtrack
It’s between Studio 54 [compilation album A Night at Studio 54] and the Blues Brothers soundtrack because both hold a level of musical genius that is incredible. Studio 54 is the epitome of disco, no one else can do that right now. And Blues Brothers literally has everyone on it, an array of artists that are doing something that can’t be done now.
‘Good For You’ Podcast
I don’t listen to podcasts, but if I did, [my favorite] would be between mine, which is called “The Fckery,” and Whitney Cummings’ “Good For You” podcast. She’s so funny. She’s the white version of me.
Many TV Shows
You can’t ask me [my favorite show] because there’s too many that I love. I have too many personalities that like to see many different things like detective, mystery, cooking shows, HGTV. There’s no favorite show, but I’m currently watching every season of RuPaul’s Drag Race live on my Instagram. And the shows that I regularly watch are Found, Will Trent and all of the 9-1-1 series.
