Hours later, at about 11pm, a silver Toyota was found alight in Old Toongabbie, a neighbouring suburb to Winston Hills.

Police are investigating whether the vehicle is linked to the shooting, including the possibility that it was used as a getaway car.
Less than 48 hours earlier, two men were attacked outside a busy pub in Forest Lodge, in Sydney’s inner west. Maradona Yalda, 31, was seriously injured, while his associate Gilbert Shino, 39, was killed after being sprayed with bullets as he tried to flee the shooting near the Harold Park Hotel on Sunday evening.
