Three people were wounded in a bloody mass stabbing near a Salinas park Sunday evening, with one victim suffering critical injuries, authorities said.
Police rushed to the area near the 700 block of East Street around 5:17 p.m. after receiving a report that a man had been stabbed, per KSBW.
When officers arrived, they discovered multiple victims suffering from serious stab wounds, according to the Salinas Police Department.
A fourth victim, who was also injured in the attack, later made their own way to the emergency department at Natividad Medical Center at about 5:23 p.m., police said.
