Nina Dobrev and Shaun White had a date night to remember at the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Dobrev, 36, and White, 38, watched Benson Boone’s Friday, April 11, set featuring surprise guest Brian May. The pair delighted fans with an epic rendition of the Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” (Boone, 22, sported a regal-looking cap over his custom Dolce & Gabbana jumpsuit for the performance.)
“@brianmayforreal from QUEEN 👑 😭 😭,” Dobrev captioned Instagram Story footage, quickly panning from the stage over to White’s place in the crowd.
White pumped his fists before cupping his hands around his mouth, screaming, “Galileo, Galileo.”
At the end of the number, Boone did his signature backflip off of a grand piano.
“There is an unbelievable amount of things I would like to say here. But here’s my best shot … This show is by far and easily the biggest production I have ever been a part of,” Boone gushed via Instagram on Saturday, April 12, reflecting on his Coachella debut. “The work, dedication and time to build and see out something like this is near unfathomable.”
The Grammy nominee added, “So many people are behind the scenes making this dream happen. I am so proud to have been a part of this show. @brianmayforreal I have no words. You are easily one of the most legendary musicians of all time and I cannot thank you enough for coming out.”
Dobrev and White, meanwhile, had the time of their lives rocking out in the Coachella crowd — one of their many public outings since his Olympic retirement.
“It’s been really fun having time together. Normally I’m off competing and she’s shooting a project or something, but now we’ve got some time together,” White exclusively told Us Weekly in May 2024. “It’s been fun. We went to Antarctica, Dubai, visited her mom in France, went to Monaco, went to Indonesia. We’ve kind of been all over.”
He added, “I want to be around for Thanksgiving, I want to to be around for Christmas, I want to be around for people’s birthdays, holidays. It’s like those little things you kind of push aside when you’re completely focused on the task at hand, which was competing.”
White proposed to Dobrev in October 2024, popping the question with a five-carat diamond from jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.
“RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé 💍♾️,” the Vampire Diaries alum quipped via Instagram, sharing snaps of her diamond ring.
