A North Carolina state trooper allegedly gunned down a fellow cop after a years-long love triangle turned deadly, according to reports.
Sgt. Nekime Oxendine was indicted by a grand jury on first-degree murder charges on Wednesday for allegedly shooting Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Cap. Adam Bean dead outside a Hope Mills home on March 27, WRAL reported.
Bean — a 42-year-old cop who worked with the sheriff’s department for nearly two decades — was allegedly shot by Oxendine in the front yard of a woman both cops had been romantically linked to, the outlet reported.
