A clip appearing to show an object being thrown out of a window at the White House has raised questions after being shared online.
The unverified video shows someone coming up to a window on the top floor of the White House and appearing to drop an object out of it.
It was seemingly first posted by an Instagram account called Washingtonian Problems (@washingtonianprobs), which said it was submitted anonymously by one of its members.
“Doing some deep Sunday cleaning?” the account captioned the video.
It has since been shared by several accounts on X, including Republicans Against Trump (@RpsAgainstTrump), which said: “What the hell is going on?”
Patriot Takes (@patriottakes), an account for “dedicated research monitoring and exposing right-wing extremism and other threats to democracy,” also shared the clip with the caption: “What is going on here?”
Newsweek has contacted the White House, via email outside of normal working hours, for comment.
This is a developing story – more to follow.
