Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has joined Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen in the NFL girl dad ranks.
Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, announced the birth of their daughter in early April but didn’t disclose her date of birth or her name.
On Saturday, Love and his wife, Ronika Stone, announced the birth of their first child together, Rayna Capri Love, with an Instagram carousel. “A full month with our little ray of sunshine. Rayna Capri Love, thank you for making our family whole, you are our everything,” the caption reads.
Love and Stone, a professional volleyball player, got married last summer, and they announced they were expecting on New Year’s Day.
Stone has been there for the best and worst moments of Love’s NFL career.
Stone and Love’s mother, Anna, went viral when they were spotted sitting in the nosebleeds at Arrowhead Stadium for Love’s first start in November 2021. The 2020 first-round pick had to fill in for then-Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who tested positive for COVID-19. It was an ugly debut, and the Packers lost, 13-7.
Rodgers won back-to-back NFL MVPs after the Packers drafted Love and did not relinquish QB1 until the Packers traded him to the New York Jets in April 2023. Love led the Packers to the playoffs in his first full season as a starter and put the league on notice with a 48-32 blistering of the Dallas Cowboys in his first-ever playoff game.
Unfortunately, Love and the Packers did not win a playoff game in the ensuing two seasons — losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card to end the 2024 season and losing in devastating fashion to the Chicago Bears in the NFC Wild Card in January.
