The New England Patriots will be without one of their options in the backfield for Wednesday night’s Super Bowl LX rematch against the Seattle Seahawks.
TreVeyon Henderson has been ruled out for the season opener after missing all three practices this week with an ankle injury.
Henderson suffered the ankle injury on Aug. 24 and hasn’t practiced since. The Patriots also ruled out center Ben Brown with a knee injury, and no other players carry injury designations heading into Wednesday’s game.
Henderson was a finalist for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year last season, leading the Patriots in scrimmage yards and touchdowns. He rushed for 911 yards…
