The $1.40 billion Powerball jackpot is up for grabs as lottery officials drew numbers for the fourth-largest prize in its history on Wednesday night.
The winning numbers are 3, 16, 29, 61, 69 and 22 as the Powerball.
Lottery officials are still monitoring results for a possible lucky winner, which they have yet to announce.
If no one beats the 1 in 292 million odds, the jackpot will be boosted yet again, inching ever-closer to the all-time high of $2.04 billion set in 2022.
Whoever does win could either choose to accept a single lump sum payment of approximately $634.3 million, excluding the chunk chewed up by taxes, or receive an annuity payment followed by 29 annual premiums increasing by 5% each time.
No one has clinched a Powerball win since May 31, making way for an envious prize that keeps stacking up.
This is a breaking story. Please check back for updates.
