Savannah Chrisley and ex-boyfriend Robert Shiver attempted to rekindle their romance after her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were released from prison.
“Once mom and dad got out, my ex and I thought, ‘Maybe, let’s give this another go,’” Savannah, 28, revealed during the Tuesday, August 5, episode of her “Unlocked” podcast. “We hung out some, we went on a trip and had the absolute best time, because we truly were best friends.”
Savannah said she and Shiver, 40, were “keeping it super quiet,” but they did officially get back together. Things fell apart a second time, however, after she “got ghosted.”
“I don’t think that’s actually ever happened to me before, so I really didn’t know how to act,” she continued. “After 24 hours of not hearing from him, I was like, ‘Savannah, you deserve better behavior than this.’ So, I blocked him.”
Savannah said she is “dead to him and he just needs to have my funeral” after blocking Shiver on everything.
“It sucks. [It] is what it is. But was I sad about it? Very much so,” she explained. “I think I was sad because I had gotten my hopes up that this was going to be my second chance.”
Savannah thought she and Shiver “were going to end up together,” sharing that he even “spent time” with Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, after they were released from prison. (The couple were pardoned by President Donald Trump in May.)
“Then, a week later, I get ghosted,” she added. “I was extremely upset and sad and heartbroken, but like I said, I put so much time, money, energy and effort into that relationship that finally I had reached a point that I realized I deserve for someone to appreciate me.”
Savannah said she’s still “in a grieving process” after their split.
“I’ve lived a lot of my life not respecting myself and allowing certain behaviors, or I exhibited certain behaviors because I didn’t respect myself enough,” she added.
Savannah first revealed her relationship with Shiver during a September 2023 appearance on “The Viall Files” podcast. Us Weekly confirmed in April that the pair had split after nearly two years together. At the time, Savannah addressed their breakup on her podcast.
“I have taken a lot of time to process things and truly grieve the loss of the relationship that I thought was gonna be where I was for the rest of my life,” she said.
