Shocking footage shows burglar sneaking around woman’s apartment in disguise in broad daylight

Disturbing surveillance footage captured a daytime burglar skulking around a woman’s Santa Ana apartment in a construction vest before making off with thousands of dollars in cash and designer goods.

Footage from the victim’s surveillance cameras and Ring camera showed the suspect outside the apartment at 780 S. Lyon St. in Santa Ana.

As he is seen rummaging through the woman’s possessions, her dog can be heard in the background barking furiously.

Santa Ana Police say the unidentified creep stole a safe holding with more than $6,000 in cash, as well as thousands of dollars in jewelry and luxury handbags from Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

Authorities described the suspect as a Hispanic male wearing construction attire, including a reflective shirt and baseball cap.

He fled the victim’s apartment complex in a white pickup truck carrying construction tools in its bed, police added.
