Emergency teams are searching for a missing swimmer off the Gold Coast.
Reports of a woman struggling in the water near Laceys Lane at Palm Beach were relayed just after 7am on Saturday.
Aircraft, surf lifesavers, water police, marine rescue and foot patrols were all involved in the search.
The Queensland Ambulance Service said it had paramedics on standby at the beach about 9am.
Police asked for anyone with information on the woman’s location to come forward.
