An 82-year-old woman has died nearly a month after she was injured in an antisemitic attack in Boulder, Colorado, the Boulder County District Attorney said in a press release sent to Newsweek by email Monday.
The charges against Mohamed Soliman in connection with the attack have now been upgraded, the release said.
The victim, Karen Diamond, “died tragically as a result of the severe injuries that she suffered,” the DA said in the press release.
Soliman allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at a group doing a “Walk for Their Lives” in support of Israeli hostages, Newsweek previously reported.
The suspect was charged earlier in the month after attacking 29 people, the release from the Boulder District Attorney’s Office said.
