A mom’s realization about one of her triplets during their naptime is going viral on social media.
Savannah Galloway (@sav_lee_with_3) posted a clip on TikTok, pointing out a small difference between her three daughters—one of them refuses to nap. The 29-year-old, who shares Lilah, Luna, and Leia with her partner, Jefferey Herr, 33, began noticing the pattern almost as soon as her daughters were born.
During pregnancy, the babies were labeled A, B and C, and baby C—now named Leia—was consistently the most active in the womb. “I like to think, even that early on, she was destined to be the most alert,” Savannah told Newsweek.
After the girls were born, they spent three-and-a-half weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and Savannah quickly realized that one baby always seemed wide-eyed during visits.
Despite weighing just 3 pounds, Leia was regularly awake while her sisters slept. Once the family returned home, the difference became impossible to ignore.
“I started to record each time nap time because Leia would always stay up longer than the other two,” Savannah said. “I started to rock her to sleep once the other two passed out first.”
But sleep usually didn’t win. While her sisters nap, Savannah said that Leia stays busy—restless, observant and determined to keep moving.
“She is so active and wants to be moving around,” Savannah said. “I think her body gets tired before her brain; big brain, little body!”
Savannah’s clip has gone viral on TikTok, amassing over 1.5 million views. Her caption, “Send help,” highlighted the learning curve that has come with raising three babies at once.
As a first-time mom, Savannah said she is unapologetic about asking for support—especially if that support comes in the form of more sleep.
In the comments, many users said Leia is the one who has to be on the “lookout.”
“She’s probably enjoying some alone time,” another posted.
Savannah dubbed her as their “FOMO [fear of missing out] baby.”
A few have suggested Savannah might be mixing the babies up, but she is quick to shut that down.
“We paint their toenails so we don’t get them confused, and, each time I check, what do you know? It’s Leia,” she said.
