It all began when Samantha Irvin made the decision to leave in order to pursue her music career.
Irvin’s departure hit fans hard, particularly because she had become so beloved by the fanbase, creating iconic moments for the likes of Cody Rhodes, Chelsea Green, Ricochet, and Logan Paul.
Soon afterward, Irvin was replaced by Lillian Garcia, who was a WWE announcer in the past. However, she announced that this was temporary and she also would soon be leaving.
Now, it appears that WWE has finally found an announcer who will stick around on SmackDown.
Recently, Mark Shunock revealed on social media that he was taking on the ring announcer position for SmackDown.
“Stepping into a new ring with WWE,” Shunock said. “Thrilled to join Friday Night SmackDown.”
Shunock then revealed that his name in WWE will be Mark Nash and he will make his debut at the O2 Arena in London.
