During the match, Stark attempted to hit her patented springboard missile dropkick on a returning Kairi Sane. Unfortunately, she landed incorrectly and seemed to blow her knee out.
Stark was soon carried to the back when her knee couldn’t support her weight, leaving Sane and Rhea Ripley to finish the match on their own.
Since then, Stark has seen an overwhelming amount of support from the professional wrestling community, sending out thanks for everyone reaching out.
“Wow the love and support means more to me than you’ll ever know,” Stark said. “What hurts more than my knee is knowing I wont be able to perform for all of you for a while. I LOVE what I do and I’m blessed to do this. As the saying goes, the comeback is greater than the setback. Love you guys.”
