Two people were killed and three others injured when a gunman opened fire at a shopping mall outside of Dallas on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Seung Han Ho, 69, allegedly launched an attack at K Towne Plaza in the Koreatown section of Carrollton, Texas.
The alleged shooter, who knew the victims, was arrested at a grocery store about four miles away from the mall, cops said.
“It was a known business relationship. We are still working through trying to identify his causes,” said Carrollton Police Chief Roberto Arredondo.
Police went to an apartment complex near the mall where Ho was believed to be living, but neighbors said they didn’t recognize his name, according to AP.
Carrollton, located about 20 miles north of Dallas, has a population of about 130,000 – of which more than 4,000 are of Korean descent, according to the US Census Bureau.
It was not immediately known if Ho had a lawyer assigned to his case.
This is a developing story.
