Caitlin Clark and Indiana Fever fans were left concerned about the team’s star player when she was forced to leave Saturday’s 107-104 loss to the Dallas Wings twice. After the game, she said she needed to get her “back adjusted” but returned to the game both times.
“It gets out of line pretty quickly,” Clark said. “So just that, just getting my back put back in place a little bit. But other than that, feel great.”
Fever head coach Stephanie White sent a clear message to those concerned, making it clear Clark is just fine.

“She has adjusted her body,” White said. “When we’re all really young, we don’t learn proper mechanics and then it doesn’t get exposed until something happens.
White suggested “this is going to be an ongoing thing,” not just with Clark but a few of her teammates as well who have gone back “and get adjusted and make sure that the body’s working.”
“Hip alignment gets off. Rib alignment gets off and it’s part of being a professional athlete. Nothing outside of that,” she added.
White said the team wouldn’t have played Clark 31 minutes on Saturday afternoon if the team didn’t think she was healthy.
Indiana will have a few days off before heading to Los Angeles for a May 13 contest against the Sparks at Crypto.com Arena. Tip is set for 10:30 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on USA Network.
